YOUTH PUBLIC SPEAKING AND LEADERSHIP

Students will learn how to prepare an effective speech, learn and practice impromptu (improvised) speaking, deliver a speech before an audience, evaluate other speakers, discover the principles of good listening and lead the speaking session.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with the skills and tools developed by Toastmasters International Youth Leadership Program in the arts of communication and leadership, in order to empower them to have effective public speaking and leadership, resulting in greater self- confidence and personal growth.
