PHYSICS: EFFECTS OF FORCES

Lesson where pupils research effects of forces in groups of 7 (there are 7 basic effects) .
Each person in the group will make a very sort movie clip illustrating their assigned effect. The group,will them collate the movies in a book creator app along with some text explaining effect.
The pupils will use ipads and an ipad app to film and collate in thenapp hook creator.
The groups will share their work with each other and discuss.

Lesson Objective
The students will find out about and engage with the effects of forces and start to
experience and think about forces in everyday life.
They will have a chance to consider the effectiveness of others representations.
They will have practice in considering and annotating forces and their directions as well
as what is causing them. This is particularly important later in Grade 11 when studying
Newton’s Laws.
