ELECTRONIC CONFIGURATION OF ATOMS

It is now well established that the electronic configuration of atoms of different elements determines their chemical activity.
This open resource deals with three principles involved in writing electronic configuration of atoms of different elements i,e . Pauli exclusion principle, Hund’s rule and Aufbau principle. Students will also learn to write electronic configuration of elements with atomic numbers upto 36 using the three principles. Readings from the listed open resources, viewing the given videos and carrying out the learning activities will make the students learn to write electronic configuration of atoms of different elements with ease.
