‘DEVELOPMENT’ AND ‘GROWTH’ IN THE CONCEPT OF HUMAN PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Lesson Summary:
Students will review specific roles of the so-called relative educational terms, ‘Development’ and ‘Growth’ in the concept of human physical development from birth to adolescene.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with an opportunity to develop clear definitions of ‘Development’ and ‘Growth’ and use graphic organisers (Star Chart, Y chart) in the process to develop an innovative presentation to differentiate between the two.
