Students will come up with the necessary steps required to read a measuring instrument .
Lesson Summary:
Students will review the different measuring instruments they have used in their Physics course in grades 7, 8 and 9. They will draw a table to summarise the steps they employed to read each instrument. At the end they are expected to identify the common steps and generalise a method to read any measuring instruments with scales.
Lesson Objective:
To provide students with the opportunity to synthesize and generalise the steps needed to make a measurement using any analogue measuring instrument.
