MATHS LESSON PLAN FOR GRADE 4 (FRACTIONS)

Lesson Summary:
Students will develop the number sense and an ability to represent numbers in terms of fractions. Thus, exploring fractions as a number concept. Make the students draw equal fractional parts. Finding equivalent fractions for e.g :
 halves in quarters,eights and tenths.
 Quarters in eighths
 Fifths in tenths, etc.....

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with the ability to identify and write fractions. To make students familiar with terms associated with fractions such as “Numerator and Denominator”. To encourage students to complete their chart on equivalent fractions using fraction bars and colour. To participate in an online interactive games and share their scores via whatsapp on classgroup4 with their friends.
