Lesson Description:
In this lesson, third grade students learn the basic functions of a plant and recognize the importance for growth (flower, fruit, stem, seed, leaf, and roots).

Intended Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
1. List the needs for plant growth and survival.
2. Identify the parts of a flowering plant.
3. Explain the functions of each plant part.
