Lesson Summary:
Vermicomposting is one of the better way to recyle the organic waste in home or work place especially in Schools to use the compost as fertilizer for the growth of plants. Students at school shall observe the types of organic wastes generated and seggregation of the same for vermicomposting through earthworms. Simply observing the basics of vermicomposting procedure through mini lesson and after watching YouTube videos, they can try to do practical activities of vermicomposting for recyling the organic wastes towards greening the school garden and make the environmental friendly composting. This type of lessons can improve their ability in conservation of environment and improve their skills for turning wastes into wealth.
