In this lesson students will review the basic components of an expository essay introduction and how to formulate and organize ideas for one.

Lesson Summary:
Students will review the components of an introduction and use the web and hook and thesis organizer to develop/create an organized expository essay introduction.

Lesson Objective:
To provide students with an opportunity to develop an introduction for an expository essay.
